Emma has always been self-conscious about her appearance. She doesn't have a very high self esteem or a very good self image, but over all, she respects herself. Emma is skinny, and a mesomorph body type. She never thinks she's really pretty, but there are times when she has to admit to herself, she looks beautiful. Emma usually wears her medium-length brown hair either down, back in a bun, or in a braid. She isn't one of those girls who uses make up very often, but when she does, she'll wear light neutral colours, and only blush and eyeshadow. Emma's usual outfit consists of her Hogwarts uniform. But when she's in casual wear, she will wear a dark grey shirt with a blue plaid jumper with black leggings. Emma has olive-toned skin that doesn't burn very easily. Her brown hair is usually silky and shiny, and is usually wavy or curly.

Emma is very shy when she meets new people, and the only time she isn't is when she isn't, is when she's with friends, or in class. Emma can be very bubbly and friendly when with people she trusts, but for right now, that is only with teachers and biological siblings, considering Emma's lack of friends. Her past has been slightly trouble, so if anyone raises their voices, she flinches as if they've slapped her. She is meek, quiet, and shy, and doesn't talk much around people she doesn't know. The only person she would ever really talk to was her mother, father, and siblings. Before her father died, and her mother remarried, Emma was a chatter box, and would always be very energetic. She had a twin named Kaitlyn, and they were joined at the hip, but she died defending Hogwarts in the battle, fighting along side Emmalia. The two were joined at the hip, and it shattered Emmalia's world. Other than her meekness and shyness, Emma is a major book worm, and spends a lot of her time with her nose in a book.

Emmalia Eleanor Malfoy was born on July 7th, 1981 in Cardiff, Wales, along side her twin sister, Kaitlyn. Her mother, Jessika, and her father Henrik, along with her elder brother Jensen, all loved the twins very much. Emma and Kaitlyn grew up very happy in their childhood years, Kaitlyn was a mommy's girl, whereas Emmalia was daddy's little princess, although both Emma and Kaitlyn were joint at the hip.
Emma loved her sister, and Kaitlyn loved her back. And their family grew when their mother gave birth to Lauren when the twins were both five. Although Emma's immediate family dearly loved each other, there was the Malfoy family, also Emma's family, that cast off Henrik for his views on muggles and muggle-borns and half-bloods. Though they didn't care. They loved their family just the way it was, Henrik, Jessika, Jensen, Kaitlyn, Emma, and Lauren. But tragedy struck a few years later, and it shattered the family, broke their hearts, Emma especially.
After Emma's father died, Emma was pulled into a state of depression, and no matter what any one did, no one, not Jensen, not Jessika, not Lauren, not even Kaitlyn, could pull Emmalia out of it. That is, until a year after Henrik died. A year after Henrik Malfoy died, Jessika remarried, and that pulled Emma out of her state of depression immediately.
Emma was infuriated with her mother for replacing Henrik, and so, Jessika and Emma grew apart. Now, Rupert, had two children of his own. Jacob, and Alexandra. They absolutely tormented Emma and Kaitlyn and Lauren, but never Jensen, because he was always at Hogwarts. But Emma, being the loving siblings that she was, took most of the heat and abuse from Jacob and Alexandra for Lauren and Kaitlyn. And from Rupert.
He was a drunk, and an angry one at that. He would always find faults with Jessika and her children, and one day, when Emma heard cries from her mother's room, she ran in and saw Rupert beating her mother. From then on, Emma stood up for all her siblings, and they weren't bothered again. But that was because Emma took all the abuse, and became Rupert's target.
The day the twins got their letters, they were ecstatic, especially Emma, but she was afraid to leave Lauren and her mother under Rupert's horrid watch. But Emma still was forced to go to Hogwarts. When they got to the school, Emma didn't talk much at all. She was very meek, very shy, and was bullied constantly, because she was a Malfoy, but in Gryffindor. So she was targeted by Slytherin the most. But Kaitlyn was more popular than Emma, and although that was the case, they never grew apart.
So Emma focused on her studies, her sister and brother her only friends, and became the smartest of her year. And she stayed that way. She spent most of the time in the library, in the common room, studying, practicing her magic. She preferred book over people, and Emma did stay that way.
Whenever they would go home for the holidays, Emma kept taking the abuse and the insults thrown at her. She stayed strong, and brave on the inside, and took a great sacrifice for her family. It was no wonder why she was in Gryffindor. But tragedy struck again in the twins' fifth year.
It was the Battle of Hogwarts, against He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. And although Kaitlyn and Emma were fifth years, they protested and stayed behind to defend their school with their brother, Jensen, who had come back to Hogwarts to defend it. But during a battle with Emma and a Death Eater, Kaitlyn was preparing to throw a spell at the Death Eater using the Cruciatis Curse on Emma, another Death Eater threw the Killing Curse at Kaitlyn, and killed her.
Jensen took care of the Death Eater tormenting Emma, but he was too late to save Kaitlyn. Emma was heartbroken. And even after the battle was over, she went home to Cardiff, in silence. For the first time ever, Rupert, and Alexandra, and Jacob didn't torment any of them. They just sat in silence for a year.
Now is the time that Emma must return to Hogwarts for her sixth year. Still meek, and shy, she hopes she might be able to find some friends this year, to pull her out of her depression for her sister, Kaitlyn.

{This is my usual starter. }
Emma flipped the page over in her Divination book, her worst class. She was good in every other class, except this one. She was reading up on the planetary alignments, which Trelawney kept giving her a T in. She groaned, shutting her book with a loud 'thump,' which caused the librarian to 'Shh!' Emma. "Sorry!" She whispered. The librarian nodded stiffly, and Emma piled her books into a neat stack on the table, and went to check out the Divination book. Once that was done, she got the rest of her books and left the library. She hummed while walking.
Her plan was to go back to the Gryffindor Common Room, and see if any of the seventh or eighth years could help her. No doubt she'd be a stuttering mess. Sure, in the classroom, Emma was confident, but outside of class, even if it was school-related, Emma had the hardest time asking for help. As Emma walked, her humming slightly increased. She was humming the Hogwarts school anthem, and looked around, seeing if any one was there, before beginning to sing. "Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Hogwarts, give us something please! Whether we be old and bald or-" Emma started singing. She stopped abruptly, jumping.
She had been startled by a shaking and scuffling and bouncing around in a broom cupboard. She raised a questioning brow and walked closer to it. "H-He-Hello? Is... Is anyone in there?" She stuttered. Emma reached out the turn the door handle, but the second she touched it, the door flew open. Her stepfather, Rupert, stepped out, and angry look on his face. "Well, lookie here! Scared, little, Emmalia. Look at you! You call yourself a Malfoy?! You're in Gryffindor for crying out loud!" He shouted at her. She knew it was a boggart, and she disliked them very greatly.
She didn't do well in DADA when they were on boggarts. She reached for her wand, almost frozen in fear, and raised it up to him. "Ri-Ri-" She stuttered. "Rid-Riddiku-" She stuttered again. But then Emma dropped her wand, and cowered in fear, waiting for the blow, hoping another student would come by and help her shaking, fearful, self with the boggart. Her stepfather, or the boggart, more likely, began yelling insults at her. "Fat, ugly, shy, meek!" The Rupert-boggart yelled. The cowering Emma backed away, just praying for help.
