Spike considers himself a good looking man. He puts a fair amount of effort into his appearance whether he shaves his hair or allows it to grow in order to spike it up. He is rarely seen clean shaven, he believes men who are clean shaven are boys and those who allow their beard to grow are unkempt. Spike allows his stubble to grow only to a certain point until he tidies it back up again. His bathroom routine can take anything from thirty minutes to an hour. Clothing wise he is normally seen in a shirt, does not matter what the colour is. He dresses casually apart from when he is teaching where he dresses more smartly. Before he fled the Death Eaters, a year before the Battle of Hogwarts he use to be seen in more black and wore a leather jacket a lot of the time, now he occasional wears it.
Spike's has the dark mark, he regrets it however knows he bares the scar. He often tries hiding it however when working out it can be seen as he prefers wearing t-shirts. He has a burn on his leg from when he was a burn scar on his right leg from when he was a young adult and decided to see some dragons, he also has a scar running from his right knee cap to his foot when he ran away and slipped.

Spike is a friendly person in general if you fit into his idea of the people he socialises with - clean and tidy. He sometimes offends people when cleaning up after them however he cannot help it as he starts to feel anxiety if anything is not tidy. He has gotten to the point now where a little bit of dirt is okay, so a little dust. He has been mistaken as rude due to this. He likes to be part of a competition and sees himself as an excellent dueller. He trains himself so hard and if he fails he will punish himself with more jogging and a lot more training. Spike when he was younger use to be the guy to talk to if someone needed something which was slightly illegal such as cursed objects. Whilst has in Hogwarts he often found himself in detention due to taking objects without permission. He has been known to be cunning especially when it came to revenge such as burning someone's homework who did him wrong.
Spike has a few fears, some more rational than others. He has a fear of spiders, even small ones. He will refuse to enter a room if he knows a spider is in there. He has no idea how he developed this fear. After the attack on the Quidditch world cup his parents were caught and given the kiss of death by a Dementor. Spike witnessed it as he was given permission to say goodbye. That was his first encounter and seeing how his parents were afterwards scared him. Even he felt part of his joy being ripped out by being near one. He also fears Azkaban after what he had seen there.
Spike's main ambition in life is to be successful whether in duelling or simply teaching. He would not mind settling down with someone however considers himself still young but something to plan in the future. He does not mind what the blood status of the person is, it use to matter to him a few years back but not any more. This also fits in with his dreams in the future, at least get some recognition for something he has done in his life.
Spike's best memory would be going to Romania and seeing a dragon, even though he ended up with two scars he loved the holiday there. His worst memory was the encounter with a dementor and his trial at the Ministry of Magic.

His parents were strict purebloods, they did not allow Spike to talk to any muggles and installed into his mind hatred for anyone who was not pureblooded. They were both death eaters before Lord Voldemort's downfall. He use to be taught about the theory of the Dark Arts when he was growing up and what was expected of him when he was to receive his letter from Hogwarts. Spike grew up with cursed objects in the house, at least one parent being out at any one time to perform whatever the dark lord commanded of his death eaters. Spike had no chance to really form his own views at his young age. If he questioned what his parents said he would be punished whether it was going to bed early or being locked in a dark and dirty room for a few hours. He learnt quickly never to do this. This is probably the time he started to hate anything being dirty. His childhood was not great before Hogwarts and his parents told him he had to be a Slytherin otherwise he would be a disappointment to the family and they would abandon him. However throughout all this he did still love his parents once he started accepting everything they taught him.
When he received his letter from Hogwarts the first thing his parents did was take him to get his wand, They were proud when a Blackthorn, Dragon Heartstring which was 11". His parents told him that when he left Hogwarts he would be trained as a dark wizard. His parents were still loyal to the dark lord even though he had vanished. When Spike went to Hogwarts there was no doubt he would be anything but Slytherin. Spike only spoke to purebloods and often insulted any one who did not share the same blood status. He was somewhat of a bully throughout his time in Hogwarts. He excelled in Defence against the Dark Arts and struggle to go into Herbology due to all the dirt that was in his classroom. Spike played Quidditch as a goalkeeper until the day he left Hogwarts. He was not that well behaved at times with sneaking out of his dorms and stealing as he got older. He use to get told off for bullying and has been to detention quite a lot due to his rebellious attitude and behaviour. He was punished for this when he went home for the holidays. The worst thing he did was sneak off to the Forbidden Forest with a few daring Slytherin's, he ended up with detention for a month and had never done it again. Spike was often seen jogging in his free time or practising duelling. It was only when he was back at home could he learn more about the Dark Arts, something he and his parents bonded over and learnt the theory in putting curses on objects.
Spike has OWL's in Defence Against the Dark Arts (O), Potions (O), Transfiguration (E), Charms (E), Herboloy (T - refused to do the exam), History of Magic (A), Astronomy (A), Ancient Runes (E), Ancient Studies (O) and Magical Theory (O).
Spike went on to do Defence against the dark arts (O), Magical Theory (E), Ancient Runes (O), Transfiguration (E) and Ancient Studies (O).
When Spike left Hogwarts he decided to go travelling in order to find runes as well as find out more about spells he learnt in Ancient Studies. Spike travelled with a few of his friends from Hogwarts when he went to Romania and encountered a Romanian Longhorn which did not seem too pleased with him. He ran from it and got burnt which led to his fall and breaking his right leg. Luckily he had someone there to heal him as they were training to work at a hospital. After Romania (he spent 9 months there) he spent 2 years in Egypt to learn more about the spells out there before travelling back to Germany for a few months in order to train with some dark wizards his parents knew. This is where he learnt the Dark Arts, little sleep and a lot of duelling. The curses were practised on rodents and if failure happened the person was cursed. Spike learnt quickly how to use the curses.
When Spike returned to London at the age of twenty three his parents took him to a Death Eater meeting in order to get marked. He was ready and willing. His parents never looked so proud. Spike entered up in the illegal items business in Knockturn Alley, often the person who finds the objects and sells them on. This fitted in well with his travelling as often he travelled to get the goods or steal them to bring to the next buyer. He often cursed items for a price and some of his wares ended up for sale in the shops. His first death eater mission was the Quidditch World cup. A year as a Death Eater, he was excited about his first ever mission to show his loyalty for the Dark Lord. He watched as his parents attacked innocents. Spike encountered a young teenager when he separated from the group and pulled his wand out. He notice himself trembling and could not say the killing curse, he knew he was not a killer and shouted for the girl to run. He fled the scene soon afterwards and that was when he broke free from his parents teachings.
Spike found out his parents had been captured and appeared to their trial. He sat with the audience and read the chargers against them. Spike had felt physically sick but remained strong as he heard that they would be sentenced to Azkaban and face the dementors kiss. They must have been there for a week and Spike turned up again, his father showing bravery saying he was ready whereas his mother trembled. He watch their soul get sucked from their body. His parents were placed in the muggle world, alive vegetables, a sentence worse than death. That was the point where Spike decided to turn his life around as he was afraid this would happen to him.
Spike knew either the Ministry or the Death Eaters would be after him but knew he could not flee. Spike turned himself in to the Ministry and was quickly put on trial. He explained a short stint of his time as a Death Eater and only did it to keep his parents proud. To save his own skin he dropped in names of Death Eaters he knew as well as where he learnt the Dark Arts. Spike was nervous and crying when he was awaiting the end result. It was decided he provided enough information to be left off of his crime however would be forced to work for the Ministry and be monitored at all times. He agreed to the terms and decided to pursue a career in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement - at least then he was monitored by an auror. He helped out with being an extra person to duel and finding wizards who used magic when in the muggle world. He would also inform someone if his dark mark was burning.

He found himself changing because of her. He became a lot more friendly with everyone like a switch just went on in his mind. Spike met up with some former Hogwarts students he bullied, apologising for his behaviour and for the insults. He did not speak to anyone he knew who was a Death Eater. What kept him from ever going back was the encounter of the Dementor, something he barely shares. His girlfriend split up with Spike as his habit of keeping everything clean started to annoy her and she seemed to have lost interest in him. He casually dated witches, wizards and muggles whilst single but nothing lasting long term.

He often spoke about his regret in ever agreeing to become a death eater, even if it was forced he could have escaped. Spike left the ministry at twenty seven and began duelling classes for adults who wanted to improve their duelling skills. He was being monitored less now but was always wary that he might be hunted down by a death eater for what he had done. Spike often taught defending against death eaters which seemed quite popular with witches and wizards who were scared. Especially when attacks became more frequent. Spike did not live in one place, often going between the muggle world and wizarding world.

Spike strolled into his classroom thirty minutes before the class was due to start. He placed his books onto his table and glanced around the classroom, a quick inspection to check for any dirt that was left from an earlier class he taught. First years could be messy. Satisfied everything was tidy he wrote a few brief notes on the board. 'Defending against jinxes'. Spike began by making room in the classroom so that students could practise. Moving desks to create room for students to duel. He then started to practise counter Jinx spells, making sure they were all set in his mind before his class came in.
As it came closer to 1pm his class began to enter and at exactly at 1pm he began teaching but also preparing to tell off anyone who came in late. He felt slightly uncomfortable with a boy who and messy hair however he did not want to bring embarrassment to the boy so he turned his eyes elsewhere.
"Now I bet you are all wondering why the classroom is laid out like this. We are going to be learning about defending against jinxes by the manner of duelling. I presume you all know some basic spells. I need everyone to get into a pair or a three if there is an odd number and line up opposite each other. We are going to use the spell, Finite Incantatem. For starters I would like to see everyone successfully cast it after my demonstration before I continue."
Spike moved his wand whilst saying, Finite Incantatem, loud enough so the class could hear how it was pronounced.
"Now first practise how to say it then cast it. If you need any help then ask." Spike stood back a bit to listen to the class whilst watching them attempting to cast the spell.
