The Houses

Based on your character's personality qualities, you will be placed into either of the four Houses that Hogwarts is divided into. The Houses are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The Houses have a point system, and you must try to get as many points as you can get for your team! The House with the most points will be given a special award!

Founded by Godric Gryffindor, this team consists of students who value qualities like courage, chivalry, and determination. The Gryffindor's mascot is that of a lion and the team colors are crimson and gold. The Gryffindor's patron ghost is Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, a.k.a Nearly Headless Nick. The element that is associated with Gryffindor is Fire.

Founded by the witch Helga Hufflepuff, this house is the most inclusive of the four houses and values qualities like hard work, patience, loyalty, honesty, and tolerance. Students in this House generally tend to be not as competitive as the other houses and are more modest about their own accomplishments. The Hufflepuff mascot is a badger and the team colors are yellow and black. The House's patron ghost is the Fat Friar. The element that Hufflepuff is associated with is Earth.

Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, this House is known for students who value wit, learning, creativity, and wisdom. Many students in this house tend to be academically motivated and excellent students. Most Ravenclaw students are known to be vain and prideful students, having quirky and unusual intellectual interests. The Ravenclaw mascot is an eagle and the team colors are blue and bronze. The House's patron ghost is Rowena Ravenclaw, a.k.a the Grey Lady. Ravenclaw's element is Air.

Founded by Salazar Slytherin, this House is comprised mostly of pure-blood students, since the founder highly distrusted Muggle-borns. This House consists of students who display traits like cunning, resourcefulness, and ambition. Slytherin's mascot is a snake, and the team colors are green and silver. The House's patron ghost is the Bloody Baron. The element that Slytherin closely associates to is Water.
